What?
Today we`ve met weth authente problem.We`re all sourounded with problems ekonomists,doctors,sportist are the peoples that are sourounded with authentic problems.
So What?
This method can be used in every moment in our lives,but at most we can use it in education,when we want to accomplish some goal.
Now What?
Wonderfull way for us,to motivate the student include them in the problem,to motivate them to think and research.
Example: Problem will be on the children in the kindergarden to make a list who animal where they lives.This can made with pictures on more animals and they to decide where they live.

Can you think about few examples for using authentic problems in the classroom?
With using authentic problems we attempt to break traditional classroom practices by creating authentic contexts for learning.
I like our example with childrens and animals but I can’t see the authentic problem in it!

I have been using authentic problems in my classroom this year and they are great. They really give students a reason for learning something. For one activity I told my third graders that the principal thought they were the most responsible class on the school and that the principal would like them to create posters encouraging other to be responsible. My students were so into this project that they thanked the principal for giving them the opportunity to do this. He had no idea what they were talking about.
Hi Adrijana! I am one of Bill Warrick's graduate students from Virginia. I made an animal book with my kindergartners this year. Each child created one page of the book, I put it together and made enough copies to share with the other classes. All the students took it home and read it to their parents as a homework assignment. My students were very proud of the work they shared with the rest of the classes. It was a great authentic problem.
